Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is malty with caramel, Mandarina hop, ripe fruit, orange. Medium bitter flavour with a mild sweetness. Body is medium. Pleasant fruity take on (Doppel)Bock.

Small cream head, over fully muddy orange-brown beer. Oxydized malts (BBd still OK), dark malts, aged beer hints, madeirisation. Caramel, rosewater, bitter-ish (as orangezeste), over caramelly sweet, caramelized beer. The orange is only in the zeste mode; Quite well-bodied, viscous, oily; good carbonation. Afteraste carries Mandarine Napoléon, and more surprisingly, black olives. Strange oxydative features - but in the end, it remains quite nice, and even convincing Bock. Thanks to Joren for bringing!

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark orange with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of malts, oranges, and dark fruits with notes of alcohol that make me think of rum. Taste of caramel, oranges, malts and stone fruits. Bittersweet. Orange-y bitterness. Medium carbonation. Distinct alcoholic presence. Balanced and lovely. I usually don’t like the addition of overly fruity hops in my old world lager styles but this one manages to do so quite convincingly.
