Cusqueña Dorada is the most appreciated beer in Peru. Its exquisite flavor and intense golden color are obtained due to a special production process with triple filtering. The distinctive flavor and aroma are achieved using 100% selected barley malt in combination with the finest aromatic hops. The dedication with which it is made is reflected in its perfectly wrought bottle and a label inspired by the mysticism of Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world.

330ml bottle via Beers of Europe and not Peru. Although I'm guessing this is actually brewed there, using water from a source at 18,000 feet in the Peruvian Andes. Pours a deep clear gold, thin ring atop that threatens to disappear entirely. Aroma seems to be sweet malt, caramel. Taste is smooth, sweet malt much richer with more body than a standard pale eurolager. There are worse out there.

Bottle purchased in downtown Limon, Costa Rica. Pours a clear light bronze color with a small white head and decent retention. Fair lacing. Faint pale malt aroma. Sweet Euro lager flavor without any skunky notes. Clean mouthfeel. Decent yet generic lager.
