On tap. Pours a clear gold with a medium, creamy off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Mild aroma of toasted malt, grain, caramel and a hit of citrus. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, biscuit, caramel, honey and lemon with a dry, mild, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Clean and easy drinking.

Keg at RS HW, 27/10/17. Clear golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is bready malts, light citric peel, straw, toasted bread, caramel. Taste comprises caramel, fruit slice, straw, toffee, biscuit, dried fruits, light brown sugar dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close OK for style but expected more from an old skool top 50 for style ... a little thin and lacking in depth.

Pours a gorgeous copper-gold with a delicious smelling malty aroma. Again, the head was large at first but settled into a fine layer across the entire body of the beer.

Taste is a wonderful mix of malt up front, hops in the middle and end, and a bit of sourness at the very end. Yummy!

This one definitely changes my perception about the style. A real winner!

From a bottle. Pours a clear amber with an ecru head. Malty nose dominated by caramel. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Slighlty sweet with low bitterness.

Tap. Clear golden colour, tall airy head. Aroma: robust clean malts, restrained fruit, minor hops. Light to medium body. Malty taste. Medium sweet. Notable spicy hoppiness on ending. Very drinkable.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear gold-orange with fair sparkle, 1/2-finger width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel and bready malts with earthy Hallertau hops, cardboard. Taste is caramel/bready malts with light fruit, lightly bitter earthy hops. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and more sweet than bitter dry finish. Overall, good representative of the style.
