Draught, 4.8% at the brewpub, shared with heavy, as were all the beers on the trip so I will stop writing this. And where is the apostrophe on the German keyboard?! Anyway. Looked exactly the same as the Märzen, again a surprise. Red-brown body. Dry, slightly roasty malty nose, very light yeastiness. Light dry, slightly roasty, polleny sweetish dunkel. Light acidic aftertaste. Ok but lacks body.

(Bottle, bought from Bio Company, on 2009-02-09) Brown and hazy. Large and quite quickly disappearing white head. Caramell and molasses in aroma. Medium bodied and bit dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, molasses, bitterness, caramell, roastedness and sweetness in taste. Molasses and bitterness in aftertaste.

On tap. Comes as "Braumanufaktur Lager". Almost clear amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly roasted malt aroma. Medium body, lightly roasted malt with a whiff of sweet licorice and a lightly bitter finish. OK as such but just rather ordinary. 090109

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy deep orange to light brown with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is mild spiced and of slight roasted caramel malt. Flavour is mild roasted, light spiced and with a nice caramel malt base. Stays quite dry and light bitter. Ends mild fruity and with an increasing bitterness.

Draught at BBF07. Hazy caramel colour. Small white head. Malty flavour, slightly buttery and caramelly. OK, not too bad.

Draught. Hazy red colour. Small white head. Malty flavour going on sweet. Good mouthfeel. Not as palatable as their pils, but still nice.
