Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma of bread, toffee and chocolate, with a hint of dried fruit. Quite sweet malty flavour, almost on the sugary side. Well brewed, but not a doppelbock to my taste

Bottle from bier-Deluxe.de. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Dark malt, raisins, fruity syrup in aroma. Dark malt, raisins, plums, chocolate in taste. Tasty.

Bottle. Aroma sweet, fruity, caramel, raisins. Tempting. Clear dark brown colour. Taste has caramel, chocolate, fruity, raisins, plums. Very very good. Smooth, easily drinkable. THE doppelbock experience. Intensely sweet. Excellent.

Bottle 660ml. @ home. [ As Riegele BierManufaktur Ator 20 ].Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, bock alike aroma, light roasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, caramel, light roasted - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140313]

Bottle sample at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Nice deep amber-brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, toasted bread, caramel and a faint noble hops note. Sweet flavor, malty, caramelly, a bit toasty, with some nuts and a bit of noble hops and light bitterness in the finish. Rounded mouthfeel and quite thick. A very nice Doppelbock.

Bottle(666ml):Deep ruby amber coloured, clear, stable mid-sized loose off-white head; toasty and molassey nose, dried black berries, caramell, vanilla and liquorice also detectable; solid sweet flavojr with a light bitterness, full bodied; chocolate, port-wine in the drier malty-bitter finish. Good and well drinkable…

Bottle looks really good, at least the labels. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Strong-malty aroma. Starts very strong, malty, sweet, but not too much. Light hoppy-dry background. Finish could be more intense, but still okay.
