22/IX/17 - on tap @ Borefts Bierfestival 2017 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2017-1591) Thanks to ratebeerians and friends for sharing today's beers!

Clear peach coloured beer, creamy big solid off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, malty, lots of caramel, fruity notes, pretty decent. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet, malty, grains, soft bitterness, bit grassy, cow fodder. Aftertaste: unpleasant bitterness, malty, that's about it. Meh.

Bottle @ home. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Dry and grassy beer, some notes of tropical fruit. Bitter finish. Nice and drinkable. Kellerbier?

At Koper beach brought from Hoppiness. Pours golden and topped with pretty large foamy head. Cellar nose, slightly soury and funky. Solid bitterness, herbal hops and slight funk again. Lasting aftertaste. Medium light body. Nice lager.

Bottle from Hotel Jamteborg, Γ–stersund. A mixed bag but overall delicious (if you consider it a lager). It is a showcase of Cascade hops, although it tastes quite bitter / old hoppy. Nice colour and smell, moments of brilliance in the taste. Sometimes it loses that but overall good. Main criticism is that the bottle is over carbonated, making it hard to stomach.

Bottle at Gekke Geit. Unclear golden with big fluffy white top. Sweet malts, yoghurt, mild spices, some fruitiness, earthy hoppy bitter tones. Moderate sweet and bitter. Light sweet and moderate bitter. About medium body, over average carbonation. Chalky, near creamy feel. Bit overcarbonated but nice brew.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep golden color with large soapy off-white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, herbal, floral and mild fruity, mainly with notes of citrus and pineapple. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy, following is grassy and a bit citric, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is medium bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Quite tasty lager...
