Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Taste: Rather complex but not very interesting. Some sweet notes, hints of caramel and alcohol, white sugar and some dull kind of bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Annoying mouthfeel. No need to ever try again...

0.33l bottle from rewe in lörrach, 2.49€. pours almost clear pale honey yellow with a small head. aroma of raisins, grains, hay, honey, herbal and floral hops. kind of like a fruity helles. flavour of dried fruits, sweet malts, pears, peaches. quite sweet, although sweetness is balanced with a decent bitterness. oily mouthfeel, medium to full body. alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle 66 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Clean, sweet, malty nose with a slightly metallic whiff. Rich, malty body - tons of sweet malt here - but theres also sufficient of bitterings to create a neat balance. A superbly crafted Bock. 020617
