Bin ganz überrascht, dass das ein Helles ist, optisch nämlich Kupfer und auch in Nase und Trunk sehr karamellig. Für mich also eher ein Amber. Trotzdem lecker, aber halt nicht hell.

Leftover from the Kalea Adventskalender. Amber with a frothy, white head. Vague citrus aroma that drifts towards floral. Increasing caramel with time. Taste is bittersweet with a mildly bitter finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Far from a traditional German Helles. Not bad.

Kalea-Bieradventskalender 2.12.2020 Einmal ein neues BIer aus Hamburg, wo ich dieses Jahr hin wollte, es aber nicht ging. EIn Bier, das als Helles mit dem gewissen Extra angepriesen wird. Und das ist auch wirklich gut gelungen. Das bernsteinfarbene Helle mit den feinen Malz- und Fruchtaromen ist untypisch, aber wirklich gut komponiert. Hat mir wirklich gut gefallen.

Clear medium amber colour, good moussy off-white head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Aroma toasted malt, bread, light caramel, light hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, bready, caramel, floral hops. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, decent helles, nothing more nor less.

Golden with a white head - Malt and hints of hops in the aroma - Malt body with a nice hop bitterness to balance - Malt and hops with some bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice
