The love between Femme Fatale and Bon Homme issued a sprog! The first triple beer by Brewery De Leite was born. The couple baptised their first offspring under the name ‘Enfant Terriple’. A ‘unpredictable’ playful beer. (do you see the pun with ‘triple’?). The Enfant Terriple is a ‘devilishly’ sunny blond beer of 8.2 volume with a playful nose. A subtle bitterness with a faint-fine citrus touch that is enveloped in a sober spicy malt taste. The agreeable bitterness lingers long. For connoisseurs with a bright outlook on life.

Rich hazy golden orange coloured body with a frothy, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, honey and yeast with a hint of curacao. Medium-bodied; Dense, rich flavour of honey, wheat, curacao, flowers and some very light spices. Aftertaste shows hints of bananas and cloves with a lot of yeast, some stronger alcohol notes and the good sweetness of honey. Overall, a very nice beer with a great yeast and sweetness that shows well as time goes on. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium yesterday on 12-August-2013 for €1,99 sampled in my hotel room in Gent, Belgium on 13-August-2013.

Deep blond color, hazy, with generous compact head. It’s a good beer, with a good body structure, round, with mild spicy yeast characteristics and low hop character; the aroma also has a light cereals touch. But rather simple.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2013. Hazy orange with a milky white head. Nose is smoky fruits, oranges, light caramel, thick malty, candy sugar & hay. Taste is murky, fruity, overripe summer fruits in a great way, light smoke, herbal & sweet spices, candy sugar,.. Fuller body, nice. Very nice.

33cl bottle, BB 22/05/2014. Dorée sur léger trouble, col blanc épais. Arôme est herbacé, note de foin, riz. Palais présente une brève amertume dans un style bien belge, houblon citronné, fleuri, malt pils-pâle et levure avec un ajout de riz qui se prête bien à la bière qui au final est le point fort qui ajoute un plus d’intérêt à cette bière.

(Bottle, Café Rose Red, Brugge, 17 July 2012) Hazy golden amber with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with tropical fruit, candy sugar and hay. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, citrus and a decent grassy, spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Nice and tasty tripel.

Bottled@chriso. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, caramelly, mildly floral with some slight notes of wood and some herbs. Flavour is fruity, citrusy, nectary and quite yeasty as well.
