Massively dry-hopped American Sour Ale. Amorous is aged in red wine barrels for approximately 8-10 months and then dry-hopped with over 3.5 pounds per barrel. We love this beer both fresh off the dry hop and cellar aged.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice brett note with a growing sour note and a bit of earthy citrus underlying. Flavor combines earthy citrus and sour citrus with a bit of a brett bite in the finish.

A golden orange ipa with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with loads of resinous floral hops, light Brett, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice well balanced IPA with light sour notes, Brett notes, light floral hops, lemon notes, quite nice. Bottle at Funkatorium.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Golden color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, oak and yeast. Medium body with flavors of brett yeast, oak and tart fruit. Slight hops in the background. The finish is funky and oaky with a tropical fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle @ What the Funk Denver 2014. Pours a touch hazy dark orange appearance with a thin cream colored head. Aroma had some butter / diacetyl and bitter green hops (which gave a vague hint of veggies). Flavor was a bit funky and bitter and green hoppy. Some more butter. A big disappointment, though I guess all bottles at the fest weren’t tainted per Ratman’s rating.
