Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass brownish, huge head. Dry malty aroma with fruity hints. Starts mild, malty, wheaty, notes of some spices, some caramel. Finish mild, dry-malty. Interesting one!

Many thanks to Thirstybird for this bottle. Smooth dry beginning. Round and fruity, malty with a nice Ale aroma, dry with lots of of grain. Round and smooth mild in the aftertaste with hints of sourish malty. Nice one!

Bought at Waitrose, Frimley. Lightly spiced grassy aroma. A ruby red tinged chestnut. Thin white head. Medium bitter. A hint of sourness into the finish, even some stray sweetness. Peppery. Spice. Light bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. It's OK. Not overly keen on the taste - just doesn't do it for me.

A deep red pour in the glass with a good head and a strong aroma of malt. The flavour was all about that malt and it imparted a richness to the mouthfeel that combined with the alcohol to make me glad I was only having the one. Very good, but very rich.
