Bottle @ Patricks, Kristiansand. Dark amber body with a small, lacing beige head. Relatively mild in aroma, dark, gentle roasted malt and quite much chocolate. Flavor is rather sweet, dark malt, mild toffee, distinct milk chocolate, light toast and moderate bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Quite smooth, very tasty and pleasant brew, perhaps closer to a brown ale than a porte, but highly enjoable.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes)@PBF XII. Black colour, small beigeish brow nhead. Aroma is cherries, roasted malts, some toffee. Flavour is roasted, some cherries, mild earth, toffee and some ashy tones. Good idea but finished product not so nice.

Bottle at a tasting. Weird colaish candyish sugary character. Not really resembling beer at all. I dont get cocoa, I get coca cola. Uhm. Sweetish, sugary. Not exactly great. Average at best.

Bottle. Dark brown color with small off-white head. Aroma of dark malt, cocoa, cherries, candies. Taste, dark malt, nougat, chocolate, cherries, candies. Very good.

330ml bottle. Opaque, dark brown colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly spicy, dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, a touch of lovage, cautious fruity overtones with a cherry touch. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly dry, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, slightly fruity, notes of cocoa, hints of cherry; lingering fruity, minimally alcoholic finish. Slightly oily texture, minimalyl creamy palate, minimally overcarbonated.

Bottle at home. Has a dark brown to black colour with a beige head. Aroma of cocoa, milk chocolate, vinegums and vanilla. Hint of cow dung for some reason. Cocoa in the flavour as with along with milk chocolate, tobacco, some coffee and roasted malt in the end. Has a slick and a little silky mouth feel, medium body and light bitterness. Cocoa is all over this porter. Nice but maybe a little too much cocoa.

Dark body with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Ok carbonation level, but a little thin body. Not to good mouth feeling. Also a bit to sweet. Chocolate, coffee, some roast, some spices and fruity flavor. Unusual, but not really exciting stuff.

BB. black color, small off-white head. smells breadish, biscuit, light pukeish, nutty, marzipan, bit parfumy, some sweetness. ok smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of dark bread, biscuits, cocoa, roasty malts, marzipan, nutty, some spices, light cinnamon, hints of cocoa, light vanilla. finsihes lightly roasty bitter with notes of biscuits, cinnamon and some cocoa notes. has some nice notes on the taste but also some that are distracting, not the greatest balance, bit weird actually.

Black colored, medium-small beige head. Aroma is of dark chocolate, cocoa and cherries, griotte. Taste is medium sweet malt, dark chocolate, some coffee notes, cocoa, cherry, griotte indeed, medium- roasty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Velvety!
