Pours hazy, dark amber with a large and thick head. Fruity aroma of peaches and yeast. Refreshing, fruity taste of peach, chocolate and yeast.

Deep golden color with a big off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet. A bit to much vanilla for my likings in this one. I prefer ice cream separate. Not in my beer. Probably better in a stout. This did not work that great.

Can 330ml. @ home. [ As Northern Monk Neapolitan Ice Cream Pale Ale ].Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, pale malt, lacto, strawberry ice, tree coloured ice, light nutty - earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, cream, pale malt, sweet malt, lacto, ice cream, tree coloured ice, strawberry ice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours hazy golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, little vanilla, sweet fruit, canned peach, strawberry. Flavor is sweet, little malt, sweet fruit, canned peach/juice, light vanilla. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 230917

Can. Opaque amber, airy offwhite head. Malty aroma, notes of sweet citrus, light caramel. Vanilla notes. Caramely, hoppy flavour. Sweet with hints of milk choc.

33cl can from Beer52.com. A hazy amber pour with a billowing short-lived cream head; some strawberry and vanilla on the aroma; a flabby grainy body, sweet with artifical vanilla and chocolate flavours. Certainly reminiscent of Neappolitan ice cream, but not in a good way.

Lively, hazy golden beer with a thick, lively head. Light smell of strawberry, citrus, quite dry, It's very smooth, with strawberry, vanilla, a hint of chocolate, a slight grassy citrus in there too. Surprisingly close to neapolitan ice cream!

Orange, hazy, big frothy white head
Aroma - Cold from fridge, surprisingly dull nose, just slight fruit, as it warms up getting some chocolate
Taste of soft strawberry, some soft citrus, not getting the vanilla, more milk chocolate comes through with the drinking. Although the flavour is odd and the chocolate clashes a bit, it's not bad
Palate - Soft carb, medium to full body, smooth, bit cloying texture, sweet but some bitterness to offset it a bit. Finish - Sweet chocolate comes through, smooth soft tail
Overall - Odd mixture of flavour and one can is enough - it is interesting but not as good as Saugatuck's Neopolitian Stout which really got the flavours without making it taste so odd. Trying to do it with an IPA is a stretch too far - but it is a memorable beer

Big creamy white head lasts maybe 10 seconds. Hazy pale amber body with lots of little particles. Resiny fruity aroma with wooden sandy notes. (No, seriously, the smell reminds me of wet sand on courtyard tiles.) Dry, resiny candy and tropical fruit with wooden vanilla and candy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity cappucino and vinegum candy aftertaste with wooden spicy notes. Weird, and not in a good way. Too artificial, and too many weird flavours. (0.33l can, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

Can. Pours orange with a small head. Messy aroma, sweet yet bitter, with notes of herbs, almonds, orange cest and marzipan. Very sweet taste. Don’t know if it’s the name but it really tastes like a almond ice cream left in a pale ale... Creamy cloying texture. Novelty.
