On tap at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Vanilla, strawberry, banana and baked apple aroma. Stacks of vanilla in the flavour, just a whisper of the strawberry and chocolate, splash of tangerine and peach in there too. Not bad.

Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Hazy orange - amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is soft and fairly luxuriant. Mild fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts. Touch of artificial sweetener. Mellow vanilla cream. Very light strawberry in the smooth creamy finish. Leaves a unexpected bitterish linger. Nice try - there is an ice cream vibe here, but it’s more vanilla ice cream then neopolitan. Any chocolate is lost on me.

6.2 Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy golden brown with a thin white head. Aromas of strawberries, chocolate. Taste is creamy, strawberry, light sweet. Creamy finish.
