It is a classical German beer, it is a märzen beer not really a Christmas beer, metalic, malty, some hop and a bit watery, not bad, 23.01.17, at Prélaz, bottle coming from Amstein.

330 ml, can.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
I had high hopes from this beer, as last time I had a Christmas beer was back in 2018, in the States. Welp, this is "only" a marzen, which I like - but I was expecting so much more from it :( My bad, not even the label is saying that it has any kind of extra spice or aroma in it..

Malzig, mild und ziemlich süß. Trinkbar, aber unambitioniert und enttäuschend.

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is malt, caramel, bread, some metallic notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Not great, dull malts and has an ’industrial’ touch.

Can as Winter, from HoTM. It pours clear copper with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toffee, brown bread, fruit cake, raisin, sultana, toasted nut, pecan pie and some playdough. The taste is firmly dry, snappy, some bitterness, earthy, woody, brown bread, ryvita, grassy, leafy, toffee, raisin, fruit cake, spice, cacao, burnt toast and a metallic twang with a drying, kinda nutty finish. Average body and fairly high, foamy carbonation. Not bad overall.
