Bottle (from Bier Deluxe). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, which leaves good lace. Aroma is grassy, floral, some mild toffee with mild sugary and nectary tones with rather sweet malts too. Flavour is sweet malts, caramel, some almonds, citrus, nectar and mild honey tones too. A bit of alcohol is showing.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally papery, fruity and grassy, hoppy aroma, condensed and unspecific fruitiness, hints of candied citrus fruit. Taste is moderately sweet, minimally sugary caramel malty with a touch of almond, citrusy hoppy, hints of candied orange zest, a touch of lemon, mandarine, honeydew melon; minimally chalky, bitter hoppy interludes. Too sweet, almost a bit tacky, could be more crisp.

Fläschla: Deep golden, hazy, medium-sized and stable creamy off-white head; moderate sweet bready-malty nose with a distinctive herbal-lemony background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering and drier herbal and lemony finish with pale malt and an increasing tartness in the aftertaste. Good, but unfortunately not really suitable for great franconian Bierkeller...
