Keg at the Taphouse - Copenhagen. A simple, roasty brown ale. Some dry cocoa character, burnt leaves giving some bitterness, dry roastiness. Light in body with average carbonation. Dry and roasty on the finish with notes of burnt toast, more earth and leaves. Fine. Basic. (May 2014, score: 3.4)
Bottle shared at the chriso Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours clear brown with a tan cream head. The nose has some toasty bread and light cocoa. Light to medium sweet flavor with more toast, ash, tobacco and earth. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and ashy on the finish, with more toast, chocolate. So so. (April 2015, score: 3.2)

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy, nut brown colour with small, beige head. Aroma of nuts, leather, chocolate, wood, coffee and some cinnamon. The flavour is similar with additional tones of fruity hops, leather and oak. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. A balanced and light brown ale.
