On tap at Den Gode Nabo, pours a dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose is quite strong for a brown ale, with oats, cocoa and roast. Flavour is very rich for a brown ale as well, with roast, cocoa and oats. Super creamy mouthfeel, with robust mouthfeel and excellent balance. Really good brown ale - one of the better ones I've had.

Bottle at ChrisO. It pours clear deep brown with a small, bubbly white head. The nose is earthy, malt-driven, brown bread, cocoa and a touch of cardboard. The taste is bitter, earthy, wood, light spice, toast and bitter cocoa with a drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty basic malty action. So-so.
