2 bottles, one from fonefan, one from Cunningham, thank you guys. Hazy dark brown color with medium light beige head. Dark chocolate, coffee in aroma. Intense roasted malt taste with coffee, dark chocolate. Well balanced good brown ale.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Chestnut brown with moderate beige spotting and edgework. Nose is dark malts, toffee, nutty. Taste comprises earthy pangs, baking powder, dark malts, toffee, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok - a thoroughly whelming affair!

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden brown to orange with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malty. Toasted malty, sweet and caramelish. Bitter, slight herbal and toasted. Ends dry and roasted finish.

On tap @ Ujevnt, Bergen. Pours maroon with a small creamy head. Aroma is caramel malts, sweet coffee and muscovado as well as an anise herbyness. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts, kandi and cocoa.
