We have taken some of our Luxembourgish cider and infused it with whole-cone Cascade hops. Cascade is a hop variety that hails from Oregon in the USA’s Pacific Northwest. First released in 1971, it is loved by craft brewers the world over for its signature citrus/floral aroma. In cider, it brings out distinctive lychee, tropical fruit notes.

We specially selected a base cider to bring out the full characteristics of Cascade, which in turn compliments the crisp acidity of our traditional cider apples.

Pours clear pale blonde. Smell is instant hoppy indeed. funky, grassy cascade . Taste is full, intense funk, bit bitter perception. apples, with skins, as well as a grassy, mildly floral hop touch thats quite clear. Relatively dry. Nice hopped cider !

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours clear brilliant gold, with no foam. Aroma is strangely reminiscent of geuze and lambik. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, balanced by a very moderate sourness. Final is average.

Bottle, kindly donated by Erzengel. Aroma of apples, cascade, funk. Taste, sweet apples, Cascade. Alcohol is well hidden. Good.

Can at a tasting. The hopping is cleanly present here, though both with citrusy fruity character and some awkwardish oxidated metallic off notes. Overall quite simple, drinkable though. Okay - good.

Can at home shared with Caesar. Clear very pale golden color, no head. Smell and taste sweetness, sugary a bit, maybe some hops but hmm nah, I don't really like it. 7-3-6-3-10

Can from Globus. Smooth fruity beginning. The floral hops create a nice bitterness that harmonises very well with the fruity and slightly alcoholic cider alles. Nice and intense fruity apples with a nice floral hoppiness.

Sampled @ Cider World Frankfurt 2019. A clear pale yellow colour. Aroma of citrus fruits, hay, sweet apples. Taste of well hopped apples, citrus, straw.
