375ml bottle. Jet black colour with very small, late awakening, creamy, tan head - only a few bubbles remain. Intense, chocolately, dark malty and minimally smoky aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, some cocoa, caramel, treacle, fruity hints of plum, bacon-wrapped plum. Taste is sweet-ish, fruity, chocolately dark malty, slightly smoky, notes of plum, bacon-wrapped plum, plum butter, dark chocolate, chocolate sauce, some cocoa, minimally alcoholic hints of plum wine; well hidden alcohol overall. Viscous, sirupy texture, smooth and soft, creamy palate, soft and fine carbonation, lingering, slightly cloying finish. Superbly balanced, very harmonious, neither too sweet nor too smoky. Excellent!

Bottle @ You’ll Never Walk Alone, Kolding. Pours hazy nearly black with small tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt. yeast, barrel and spices. Bitter flavour of roast and smoke, with notes of prunes, barrel and malt and touches of yeast. Barrellike and estery aftertaste with pruny and roasty notes. Warming alcohol presence. Delicate, perfectly balanced and yet complex and potent. Very good. One of the best Baltic Porters I have ever had.

Bottle thanks to Zakoon. Pours greasy black with a small fizzy brown head. Aromas of smoke, chocolate, malt, dates, some sweet berries, licorice. Taste is smokey, salmiak, chocolate, dates, prunes. This hype homering train needs to be stopped. Not worthy of a spot on the top50 list at all hah.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown/black color porter with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of black cholate notes with some plum notes is interesting. Taste is also a mix of rich chocolate notes with some fruity notes of plum with a dry finish with very little residual sugar notes showing. Body is about average with good carbonation. Complex mix of flavours which brings this beer to another place.

Black, tiny light tan head. Smoky aroma, malt, a little licorice. Smooth, oily mouthfeel. Smoky licorice flavour. Syrupy, dried fruit. Nice and quite elegant.

On tap at JaBeerWocky in Warsaw. Black color with an irregular low tan foam. Nose: sharp smokiness, tons of dried prunes, figs, mou. Mouth: medium-low sweet overall, roast is balanced, a blast of dried fruit. Charming one
