500 ml bottle, as Breitenlesauer Festbier, this seems the current version of this one. Murky dark amber brown with a foamy head. Roasted malt, toffee, dried figs and dates, roasted nuts, candied fruit, basement notes, metal, lemon zest. Malty fruity sweetness, dry zesty metallic bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty malty roasty bittersweet finish. An excellent Festbier, should be even better with a good hearthy Franconian dish!

Fles 50cl in Dalfsen als Breitenlesauer Winterbier. Nutty, redelijk droog, caramel, süffig, licht kruidig, ergens wat chocolade, maltig, rood fruittonen, bittertonen. (12-5-2023).

Klare bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht röstmalziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht röstmalzig mit Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Optisch dunkles Braun, ordentlich Schaum. In der Nase Getreide, im Trunk malzig, würzig, aber auch etwas muffig. Dazu etwas Schokolade. Leicht unrund.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a deep chestnut brown with a medium sized throthy off-white head. Aromas of grains, hay, caramel, dark fruits and brown bread. Taste is the same notes as in the aroma, lots of fruity notes, caramel and toasty brown bread. A little brown sugar but well balanced. Very decent Christmas beer.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Chocolate, nuts and berries in the aroma. Blackcurrant, chocolate, cherries and chestnuts in the taste. Very nice indeed.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma beige fine persistente, colore ambrato carico limpido, al naso subito malto tostato poi caramello zucchero di canna frutta matura e una punta di caffè, in bocca malto tostato pane nero caramello frutta matura, corpo rotondo, carbonatazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. Molto buona, la qualità si sente. c. Luppoli e Uva Varese 11.03.22

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. As Winterbier. 5.5%. Clear coppery brown. Decent off white foam stays the course. Nose has light vinous notes. Touch of caramel. Some hedgerow. Toasted bread crust. Taste has a caramel malt sweetness turning dry-ish with a soft vinous bitterness. Smooth and easy drinking with foamy carbonation. Light dry and bitter finish.
