(15.03.2011) bottle@home: got the last bottle at the store, red fruit, brown sugar, minor spices, some liquorice, bit like a fruiter & simpler Leffe Brune, too thin/light for Christmas beer, not really impressive, mostly a marketing (07.01.2018) Dark amber, tanned head. nose is fish guts, plastic, chemcial,.. Unpleasant burned sugar, chemcial, plastic, fish guts, nasty, definetly worse than I remember. Like a strange awful sugary industrial lager of sorts. 3.1 ->2.5

Thanks to Morko for sharing this! Clear amber-brown-red body. Sweet nicely fruity nose, malty. Pleasant, but I can’t think of better descriptors. Dry sweet malty taste, slightly bitter, typical Leffe spicy notes. Drinkable stuff, even if it smells better than it tastes.

(Draught at Brussels Airport) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white with hint of brown. Aroma had caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramell, sugary sweetness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet. Very clean and dull beer with too much sweetness.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Mahogany colour with a white head. Raisins, chocolate, figs, black cherry aromas. Nice Crimbo feel. Cinnamon, coriander, dates, marzipan and chocolate flavours. Sweet and warming finish. Not bad at all.
