The bottle looks really good, as well as the beer in the glass. Starts malty, modest spicy with notes of cinnamon. Finish much milder, only modest malty, a bit metallically. Finish should be more intense. So only average!

Bottle at post pre ZBF, bought at an all night shop in Bruges. Some cardboard on aroma, some fruit in mouth. Not particularly great, but just about ok.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear deep amber with a neat off-white head leaving a neat lacework. The yeasty aroma has Leffe writen all over it. Medium body, sweet dried fruit and a little fruit, but this is entirely a yeast job. No real evident spices and a rather subdued bitterness. No yeast sediment in Leffe’s anymore? Damm, it must’ve been too long since I last had one. 080210

Bottled 330ml. -Straight from the bottle somewhere in Brussels. Light notes of spices in the nose. Moderate roasted malty, candy sugar and spices with notes of cinammon and dark fruits. A bit too sweet but overall good Noël.

Bottle at Taverne ’t Botteltje in Oostend. As Leffe Kerstbier. Pours orange brown with a good beige head. Something of an evergreen aroma. Medium body with very frothy carbonation. Flavor is roast caramel with some evergreen note and some xmas type spice. But not overstated. Drinks better than many Leffes.

bottle, pours amber, medium off white head. Aroma is carmel malt, some cinnamon and clove. Bready malt, some nut flavor with a heavy spice, some pepper and hot cinnamon it’s definately a red hot or hot tamalles kind of burn. Not at all bad, just a little simple.
