Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear ruby with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fragrant, festive spice, bitter - sweet , clove rock, cola cubes, glace cherry, cherry tunes, raisin, sultana, caramel, fruit cake, vanilla and candy cane. The taste is dry toasty vibes upfront, bitter - sweet, quite fruity, cherry, fig, jammy, raisin, sultana, herbal accents, festive spice, clove in particular, nutmeg, wood and dull alcohol with a bitter - sweet, toasty spice finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quite nice. Decent festive offering.

A small taste @ the flagship Alko, press blind tasting. Pours clear deep copper with a high head. Aroma is sweet toasted malts with some spices. Flavor is sweet toasted malts, spices, belge yeast esters, hops. Good.

Klare bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, heftiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig hefig, würzig, fruchtig mit Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è elevata. Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina . Il retrogusto è intenso Sul tetto della bocca si attestano sentori di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, erbe aromatiche e frutta passita.

On tap at IBIS hotel, Kortrijk, Belgium. A very dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, spice, caramel, yeasty, dark fruit taste/aroma. This was actually a decent winter beer, very surprised to see it on tap in early summer.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear dark brown, small head. Caramelly nose with notes of coffee. Sweet with above medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bold caramel, some dates. Low bitterness. Simplistic.

(bottle 0,33l Advent calendar from Beershop.cz online shop) Overall: Ok spicy, a bit too sweet. Some distracting harsh/toasty. Aroma: Sweet, spicy, coriander, bread, caramel. Appearance: Clear ruby-brown. Medium off-white head. Taste: Very sweet, caramel, bread, malty, spicy, light alcohol, later some toasty/roasty/nutty. Palate: Medium body. Spicy finish.

Amber, clear with a medium off white head. A fruity, caramel and slightly bread aroma. Sweet, light bitter with a Belgian hop and spices end. Named Leffe Noel.
