Bottle @ benzai. Almost black colour with a very small white head. Smells coffee, roasty. Tastes coffee, moccha. Taste is truly amazing if you like coffee. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Ansjelaah. Opaque very dark brown to black color, medium to full sized tan head. Aroma is malts, slightly hops, huge espresso and roast with roast bitter. Love it. Taste malts, again slightly hops, again full on espresso, roast, coffee bitter. Oh yeah I like this. Nice.

Aroma and flavour are strong with roast malts and burnt coffee. It’s nicely bitter with a long, dry finish.

At a tasting, stable medium bubbly mocha head, aroma of roasted coffee beans, with light fruity hops in the back, roasted coffee flavor with green notes, medium chocolaty bitterness, with some mocha in the back, long greenish coffee aftertaste. Nice but not sure i like this take.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Tom L. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Nice aroma of coffee beans, a bit of hops. Bitter flavor of coffee and hops, roast, a chocolate note. Finishes kinda ashy. Medium-bodied.

Tap at WVHNB. Black with beige head. Lots of coffee up front, Haagse Hopjes, citrus peel, cream, smoked almonds, roasted malts. Very light sweetness with medium bitterness. Medium bodied with creamy feel. Doesn’t really work well together to be honest.
