Tap @ Uiltje bar, Lammetjesdag 2015. Black coloured, light brown head. Incredible aroma of fresh milled coffee, espresso, roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, slight hoppiness. Dry roasty finish. Great brew, smells great.

Tap @ Uiltje bar, small sample. Dark color, short off-white head. Aroma of loads of coffee, slight roast, bit chocolate, slight earthy hop. Medium bitter in taste, slight sweet, again quite some coffee. A bit high on coffee, but I could still enjoy it.

33cl bottle shared with kermis. Too much coffee. Not enough IPA. Clear black pour.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours near black with a big beige head. Aroma is massive coffee upfront, big roast, really nothing else getting past it. Flavor is moderate sweet and fairly heavy bitter with a lingering strong bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Extremely one dimensional.

Draught at LMG. Jet black with a large frothy head. Aroma is ground coffee beans. Flavour is again heavily dominated by coffee, dry roasted and anything else you hear in a coffee ad. To be honest I donโt get any Black IPA here, but I donโt drink coffee so may have been mugged by the intensity of the bean, a more seasoned coffee drinker might get a lot more from this beer, I am probably get the shakes from canine overload.
