Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright amber with a generous fluffy head. Attractive carbonation. Nose - friot salad and tangy sweets of that order. Perhaps Starburst or something similar. Taste - specifically lemon and grapefruit pith. Not as generous as the nose. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - perhaps just a little too dry for my palate. But really glad I tried it. Stunning nose.

Tap at the Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy medium amber with a very thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light hop. The flavour is weak bitter with a watery resin hop palate with some weak fruit dry spicy notes too. Medium bodied with flat carbonation. Lacks any kind of life to be refreshing. Needs more bitter hops. Not really my style.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, copper-ish, deep dark golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Very cautious piney hop aroma, biscuity caramel malt basis. Taste is bitter hoppy, minimally sweet caramel malty basis, a piney touch, cautious hints of red berries, tangerine. Somehow strong bitterness without bitter taste. Meh.

Draught. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Surprisingly nice balance considering 20 diff. hopps.

(Keg at Stones, 20140201) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had strawberries, peach, pine and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, strawberries, pine, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A really weird experience: like Fuller’s yeast gone crazy combined with bittering hops.

Tap at Stones. Dark amber color. Small beige head. Fruity overriped mango aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity, resiny and piney hoppyness. Good malty backbone. Suprisingly straightforward.

Draught @ Mikkeller Tap Takeover, Gastropub Stone’s
Thick head and served - aroma is rather light with some sweet fruity tones and peaches. Flavour is sweet and resiny with some hops, minerals and woody tones. Also some bready malt in the background. A disappointment, I was expecting this to be more hoppy and fruity.

hazy dark orange colour, 1 inch off-white head; aroma of tropical fruits, pine, some citrus and caramel; taste is dominated by hops, though malty sweetness is also present and can be felt; not bad
