On tap at DC Brau, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel malt and very subdued hops. Flavour reveals intense bitterness upfront, followed by some metallic notes, and sweet bready malt. This isn't working for me - lacking cohesion, astringently bitter, and lacking the gentle crispness a pale should have. Not a fan.

Copper with a white head. Straight forward pale. Medium body. Pine, citrus, light spice notes. A good caramel malt backbone. Classic. Tasty.

Can exploded when I opened it. Needless to say, the beer was no good.
