Can as an extra from nimbleprop - thanks! Pours very hazy orange amber with a medium off-white head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is pine, spruce, citrus. Flavor has little sweetness, sprucy hops, light bitterness. Light body, highly carbonated.

Crisp, slightly hazy amber coloured body with a chewy golden and copper tint - very nice looking with a centimetre or or so of tan head. Aroma of pungent biting and resiny hops with a malty and toffee glow and a very strong grassy and herbal note as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hop flavours up front with a good malt backbone that doesn’t overpower that shows some sweetness on the end and a hint of a bowl of fruity pebbles at the very end. Aftertaste is bitter from the hops with a pleasant herbal and grassy note that brings out a bit of sweetness and some citrus flavours. Overall, a great APA, with a ton of complexity and a good floral, herbal note that shows well with the hops. One of the better APAs for sure - up there with Tupper’s. I love how this comes from Washington as well - a great local beer to have everywhere! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Arrowine in Arlington, Virginia on 20-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 24-September-2012.

33cl can courtesy of Travlr.

Location: 12 oz can from jcos/dbarnold I'm thinking, maybe?, 8/5/12

Aroma: The nose has citrus hops, some pine trees, and a little bit of caramel malts as well
Appearance: Pours a caramel-orange color with a foam of beige-white head and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: Tastes fairly balanced, it is citrusy, with a smooth sweetness and a nice mid-plus bitter hop bite
Palate: The mouthfeel is fairly creamy and mildly chewy, with a medium body, and a lengthy, dry finish
Overall Impression: You've got to love craft beer in cans, especially when they taste this good. I really enjoyed this APA from DC Brau, it is extremely sessionable (semantics, semantics, 6% is reasonably low enough to be sessionable in my opinion), and has a very nice flavor as well. This one is more then solid in my opinion: Good stuff! I can (no pun intended) drink a lot of these.
