There is definitely a note of spruce here, as described. Good hoppy head with nice follow through of malt. Medium bitter finish. Very nice for style. Can at Solly’s.

Can from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Hazy gold with a slight, off-white head. Tangerines and pine with some biscuity malts, before a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Can courtesy of Kermis and consumed at the South Park road tasting, Colorado. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is weak grassy hop and citrus. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a dry spice peppery liqourice palate. A very drinkable IPA.

Can: Copper/amber color with a small beige head. Decent retention and a little bit of sheet lacing. Aroma is ripe with citrus and florals; just a little bready and caramel malt to balance. The hops are more prevalent in the flavor than a lot of the APAs I’ve had lately... really refreshing. Citrus, floral, and resin. Malt is there, but in the background. Good stuff.

Can: Poured a bright orangey/amber color ale with a nice big foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit notes with dry caramel notes. Taste is very refreshing with solid floral notes of citrus and grapefruit with limited bitterness and some dry caramel malt notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Solid rendition of the style with great drinkability factor.
