12 oz. can courtesy of Queenholly. Thanks much for the D.C. brew. A nice hazy gold with a thin ring of head in a Trappist glass. Aroma is fruity with yeast and some spicy notes. The flavor is pretty nice. The flavor has small amounts of yeast. Light Belgian spice with light citrus hop bitterness. Lighter in body and easy enough to drink.

Nice crisp and hazy honey golden glow with a bit of a copper tint and a thinnish, one centimetre tall slightly off-white head. Aroma of yeast, bananas, bread, alcohol, some light fruit, a bit of sugars and a tiny amount of metal. Medium-bodied; Assertive bready and yeast flavour with a strong banana kick, some alcohol, a bit of earth a small amount of sugars and a metallic, slightly bitter finish. Aftertaste nice and relatively complex, but showing a lot of yeast and a bit of breads with a hint of sugars - not much else. Overall, a decent belgie ale, but showing a bit too much metal and yeast and not enough complexity and fruitiness. Nice to sample as most of the beers are from the brewery - but if you can only grab one or two cans, get the Corruption (regardless if you like IPAs or not) instead. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Trader Joe’s in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 05-October-2012 for US$1.67 sampled at home in Washington on 08-November-2012.

No head left, orange-ochre colour, fully hazy. Citrus, orangepeel and spicy, if restrained. Slightly sweet-bready, with a fruity rounding (citrus, melon). Bit of caramel, but with a (noble) hoppy edge. Warming up, meaty esters from the yeast. CO² is very obvious. Medium bodied, yeastfeel. Nice, if not very consistent: the beer pulls in all directions, arriving not really anywhere.

Poured from a can shared at home. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a thick white head. Tangerine in the nose. Lots of carbonation. Smooth and mellow. Very quaffable.

Can. Cloudy yellowish-orange, with a fine, thick head. Fruity, estery nose, with peach, melon, banana. Yeasty, slightly Belgian, bready malt. The flavor is malt that is a bit harsh, very yeasty, somewhat astringent Bananas. Rather sweet. Ok, but it needs work.

Can thanks to RobertDale. Pours cloudy yellow amber with off white head. Nose/taste of lemon, banana, toasted grain and sweet malt. More of a wheat than a Beligan pale. Body on the thinner side of medium.
