Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - deep amber and generally autumnal. Nice lacy head. Nose - spiced biscuit and dried fruit. Raisins then orange peel all the way. Taste - this time the fruit is tart. Cranberries and sour plums. Dry burnt biscuit finish. Palate - close to medium bodied. Tangy and dry through the middle. Light astringency on the end but ok. Overall - one of those where the more time you spend with it the more you get put of it and I had a whole bomber. Enjoyable.
