Isar is our brand new Hopfenweisse. Brewed with a Hefeweizen Yeast and Pilsner, Wheat and Malted Oats. Heavily dry hopped with Citra, Lemon Drop and El Dorado, this is a full bodied beer with a classic wheat beer finish. Just in time for Oktoberfest!

Draught. Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized white foamy head, which lasts for a while. Aroma is wheat, some spruce and mild citrusy tones. Flavour is citrusy bitterness with some floral, mild pine-like and some wheaty tones. Feels way less than 7 %. Even palate is not that nicely bodied.

Tap at Track taproom, Manchester. Hazy yellow color and steady white head. Sticky wheaty aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Wheaty, tart, not much banana. Gone?

440ml can, 2023 rebrew minus the Lemondrop hops. Aroma of wheat, citrus, floral, clove. Taste of wheat, citrus, floral, clove, mild banana esters. Nice enough but think I expected a bit more from this.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Wheaty, citrus, fruity aroma. Tastes similar, wheaty, citrus, fruity, tropical fruit. Rather pleasant.

Keg @ The Brink, Manchester. Hazy blonde with a head. It has plenty of 'weiss' style with a sweet milkshake fruitiness and an obvious strength.

Hop Locker 3. Keg. Hazy yellow - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Smooth wheaty malts, light creamy sweetness. Mild esters, trace of banana. Sweet floralness. Mild Spice on the light finish. Not bad for a wheat.

Keg at MS HW, 24/11/17. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is peach, bubblegum, soft breads, light hop presence, straw. Taste comprises tangerines, mango, candied fruit peel, sweet and sour touch, bready malts, pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop climax. Solid for the style.

Keg at the Hop Locker 3. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Zesty lemon in the nose, wheat flakes, hay. Light-medium sweet flavour with more lemony character, low bitterness, dry wheat bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty clean finish, more lemon zest, flaked wheat, pine needles, a little yeast, straw. Nice stuff.

Keg at the HL3. A bright golden yellow coloured pour with a a lasting forthy white head. Aroma is nice mint, midget gems, wheat bubble gum. Flavour is composed of crisp light grains, wheat, midget gems, bubblegum, juicy fruit,. Crisp wheat.. Nice. Spicy.
