Bottle from Cornelius. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth and dried leaves. Flavour of grain and dried apricot. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Weak fizz. A bit dull and one dimensional.

Sample from the brewer enjoyed at Cotteridge Wines tasting room; clear yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has sweet malts and citrus, taste has sweet caramel, hints citrus.

Bottle from Rheged. Appearance - amber with a thin head. Nose - orange and caramel. Taste - dried orange and cake. Earthy and spicy. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - the taste was better than the nose which was a little ordinary.
