On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - jet black. Creamy slightly off white head. Nose - liquorice and smoke. Taste - blackcurrants, liquorice, roast, smoke again. Palate - medium to full bodied, dry and crunchy through middle and finish. Overall - interesting, challenging and good.
