Ah, how had I missed this one for so many years? I guess all that beer has made me crazy enough to want to try it. Would it be as legendary as the reviews stipulate? And besides, 4% isn’t exactly "light", now is it - I mean it’s about the same as some English pub ales. Perhaps this is just the good ol’ USA’s attempt at a classic English pub ale, just like the frat party is the USA’s attempt at a classic English pub? Pours with piss-yellow body and surprisingly a little bit of head. Faint aroma of rice adjuncts. Taste is almost nothing, with a bit of rice on the tongue and a lingering dry grain finish. Bad, yes, but not revolting.

(tap) clear pale yellow with small white head; slight malty aroma, taste is bland and simple but unoffensive first ’light’ beer I have tried - and I have expected much worse :-) it is not a beer I would choose again, but I have had plenty of worse tasting ones - especially in Asia and in the Caribbean

I had this at a Chicago Blackhawks game, really the only reason why I’d choose to drink this one as the selection at the game is minimal. One of those beers that you drink and then monitor how many you’ve had..not a beer to drink for flavor but to get a buzz on when there’s no other beer to drink. I’ve had worse tasting beers out there, it’s not horrible. I will say that Corona is better than this.

How this even qualifies as a "beer" is beyond me. More like urine that has been carbonated and distributed to the masses, marketed as a refreshing beverage.

Refrigerated bottle. Taste is semi-sweet malt (almost all corn) and a wee bit of hops. I wouldn’t buy this, but if it is free and the only thing available I have been known to drink some. It is somewhat insulting to other beers to call this beer, but such is life. I would have rated this lower, but the taste is not absolutely horrible.

Bottle. Poured a clear weak amber with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had weak hop notes. Flavor was weak as well with some notes of malts and hops.

12 oz can. Smells of cheap adjuncts, straw. Pours pale yellow with a medium-sized head which dissipates in seconds. No lacing--no surprise. Tastes like carbonated water with a splash of beer flavor. How is it that this boring, bland piece of crap is the number one selling beer in America? How did this nation ever turn on with such mass zeal to this garbage? Advertising, that’s why. The folks in Anheuser-Busch’s ad agency are brilliant. How else could they sell such swill to so many people? It’s so fucking sad.
