Keg at mother Kelly’s. A hazed red orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet brown sugars, herbal citrus, mellow funk, nettle, mellow veg.. Little peppermint on the nose as well. Flavour is composed woody vegetable matter, lemon rind, tart funk, spicy bitter. Lemon finish. Palate is dry woody, dirty funk moderate carbonation. Woody tannin. Not a fan of this..

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep damson to plum. No head and very low carbonation. Nose - stewed apple and plums. Mountain herb thing at the back. Taste - more sour plums. Salty spur edge on the linger. Palate - light to medium bodied with a long lean tight middle section. The finish is a long continuation of this. Overall - a well made sour. Great balance.
