Black, beige head. Smells of malt, chocolate, a touch of hop and caramel. Tastes the same. This is rich, malty, creamy and fucking delicious.

Bottle from the dregs run delivery. Thanks Craig! Lumpy black pour. Dark sugar, chocolate and burnt toffee nose. Boozy. Might not have travelled well.

Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen. Nice off white head. Nose - hazelnuts and marzipan. Almonds. Taste - burnt toffee, molasses. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry tangy yet crunchy finish. Overall - lovely complex beer.
