Bouteille 33cl de Geers, BB 02/06/2016. Dorée paille, col blanc. Arôme au bouquet citrique renforcé, belles fragrances houblonnées offrant un léger fruité tropical rappelant le Nelson. Palais est suret typique des Berliner présent sans être dérangeant ni trop dominant, fond bien houblonné qui tranche bien avec le style original. Appréciable sont les notes tropicales - mangue et fleuries.

Aroma has sour cream, green apples and milky (lactic) tones. Flavour has lactic tones, fruits, some creme fraiche and hints of sour cream. A bit fizzy palate. Flavour is even a bit mellow for a Berliner weisse, but perhaps it is meant to be so since this is ought to be drinked all day. At least I find nothing offensive here – which I usually do in Berliners from outside Germany.

Pours hazy yellow with a smooth head. Aroma of tart fruits, lactic sourness, wheaty yeastiness and citrus. Taste is quite untypical with loads of refreshing juicy and tart fruits, berries, hay, earthy notes and mild sourness. Finish is crisp, juicy and mildly wheaty sourish with some lemon, passionfruit and pineapple. Quite refreshing berliner weisse.

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fresh, citrusy hoppy aroma, lemon notes, a sourish prickling sherbet note. Taste is moderately tart, lemon juice, also lemon from the hops, some herbal and grassy notes, some hop bitterness. Light but very aromatic, superbly refreshing, well balanced tartness.

Drucken på fat på Bishop Gustav. Ljusgul med en aning grönt i, mycket grumlig, tjockt rakskumslödderliknande skum. Mycket frisk fruktig doft med lichie, lime och passionfrukt. Lätt såklart, torr, lätt syrlig, rejält humlad, torr grön citrus, tropisk frukt, lätt men stram torr grön citrusbeska. Inte så mycket BW-likhet kanske men riktigt gott.

Draught at Mikkeller Stockholm. Hazy hay yellow liquid with medium white head. Aroma of apples, lemon, bread, grain, spice and citrus. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of lemon, apples and grain. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Refreshing.
