Keg at Brewdog cj. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy lemon citrus, floral hints of sharp acid, pollen, hop matter. Flavour is pretty mellow, tangy wheat grains, pollen floral hop, little tangy sour. Palate is very light, moderate to high carbonation. Interesting enough, maybe a bit weak.

Poured from a bottle, thanks Santa! Aroma is somewhat fruity with some pineapple and tropical fruit along with a moderate citrus note. Light wheat and pale malt. Tropical fruit notes grow stronger and include mango and some melon. Pours a pale, yellow straw, slightly cloudy with a moderately sized, frothy white head that exhibits average retention as it recedes. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately tart with some moderate lemon and other citrus notes. Medium light tropical fruit character, mostly pineapple and mango. Some Medium light wheat notes and light cracker. Low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice Berliner style beer. The tropical fruit notes work well and the acidity is not over powering. Nice citrus notes and the malt is able to show through.

Bottle at home thanks to JF, 03/04/15. Hazed light golden amber with a big old off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, juicy hop wash, melon, grassy, light pine, mandarin. Taste comprises pissy citrics, lemon rind, straw, light herbal, faint spice, damp balsa. Medium bodied, tarte citric wash and light acidic trace in the close. Ok linner, starts off more hoppy on the nose and evolves more into the linner style as you drink.

Courtesy of 77ships. Berliner Weisse - a near forgotten beer style which enjoys a modest revival nowadays in craft beer culture. Stable, creamy, off-white head, hazy yellow blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue. Aroma of limoncello, wheaty sourness, sour yoghurt, grass, gooseberries, apple peel. Light mouthfeel, elegant and very refreshing acidity, lime-like, wheatiness, sharpish carbonation adding to the ’lightness’, dryingly sourish finish with powdery yeastiness, a spritzy hop touch and residual wheat flavour. Very well executed example of this interesting style, extremely refreshing and quenching. Could drink this by the gallon on a hot summer day.

Sampled from bottle (thanks to 77ships) @ Tim needs to get rid of his ticks tasting. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are grassy, lightly citrussy, a hint of grassy lemon hops, lightly "friszuur". Suitable body and carbonation. Lovely.
