Bottle at home, looks like it’s 2 months old (march 2015). Slight hazy beautiful deep reddish pink, unfortunately with absolutely no head. Very nice strong sour raspberry, red berries and gooseberries. Dry hay and funk, deep woody. Very sour, but not in a vinegar way, more like intense sour fruits. Light bitter berry pit finish. Light to medium bodied with no carbonation. Very impressive, but leaves me wondering if a carbonated version would be better.

Bottle from BeerMerchants; hazy scarlet red pour with a tiny off white head, tart berry and wood aroma, taste has tart raspberry, some funk, a hint of lemon and apple, sourness in the finish, quite impressive.

Flaska från Etre Gourrmet..Färg som av jordgubbssaft typ orangeröd, klar, inget skum. Lättare doft av hallon och vinäger. Lite hallon i smaken och lite för mycket vinäger för min smak. Rejält syrlig, men också ganska söt vilket gör den lite svårdrucken. Tycker att Hansen är lite ojämn. Världsklass med knivskarp syra när det är som bäst men den här var inte det.

375ml bottle shared @La Tana (Rome) with ippopotamo36. Pours a light red color with a medium foam. Aroma is vinegar, yeasts, dirty socks, citric, framboise, disappointing. Flavour is aggressive and rough, lots of vinegar that cover fruit, citric and tart, unelegant and difficult do drink. Medium body, high carbonation. Forget it.

Bottle at La Tana pub in Rome-Italy with huge thanks to mortlach for sharing it. Grazie! Pours pinkish red, minimal bubbling no-foam. Nose is pungent of esters and cellar. In the mouth this beer blasts the drinker with the most adventurous tartness (up to your taste like it or not, I did like). Raspberries in the background, dusty notes and a tart mouthfeel which stays long enough to let you recall this gem.

Bottle shared at home. Pours a reddish orange with a ring off white head. Aroma of tart raspberry, citrus, a light bretty funk and a touch of wood. Flavour is heavy acidic. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at home Thursday 22nd January 2015 Pours a washed out pinky red l with little or no head, other than being a different colour, its not exactly gonna turn heads at the beer beauty pageant. Taste wise it was too cold at first (my fault) but 3/4 of the way through it warmed a little and improved hugely. Fresh raspberries on nose, tart, zappy sour raspberries in mouth, a little challenging but perservere and you will be rewarded. Jolly pleasant. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.8

It’s hazy, golden orange, small head of foam that shrinks ever so quickly. Yet, the lacing is decent.
Sour nose, to be sure. Mixed with the oak; I cannot say what the source of the sourness is from without reading the label. Raspberries, eh?
Very sour taste, noticeable oak flavour, fruit wise, again, I could not for the life of me, identify it. Tastes good though.
When it comes to Belgian sours, Hanssens is the only one to show up in Casper and I am thankful for that!!

Bottle. Golden, pink color, no head. Nice fruity aroma of raspberry. Tastes really really sour, but with a nice smooth touch of real raspberry, no artificial shit here. The tart is well balanced with the fruit. Evolving, lingering aftertaste. What an amazing beer.
