375 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, Lotnr: B. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with no head or lacing on the glass. Slight clinging bubbles on the glass. Good appearance. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, orange, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of pepper, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, orange, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of pepper, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, orange, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, pepper, leathery/musty funk, light vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance. Mildly increasing pucker through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from sourness and tangy fruit. Flat carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a very nice fruit lambic. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; despite the flat and moderately acidic/tannic/drying finish. Extremely jammy raspberries with balanced Brett/Lacto complexity; nice malt backbone and oak presence. Would have preferred some carbonation, but this was a very enjoyable offering. Pretty impressive, and spot on style example.

Bottle at home. As ‘Framboos Lambic’, bottle with the raspberry image on the label. Red with no head. Rich and dense raspberries, from sweet and cooked to unripe and vinegrous sour, lactic sour, hints of glue, rusty nails. Medium body and completely flat. Even though this seems less sour than the hanssens oude kriek I tried yesterday it still burns my throat when I swallow this liquid acid. Definitely not an everyday ordeal, kind of happy I’m done with these bottles now. The aroma is great but the acidity is challenging.

Gott!

375ml bottle from FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy pink with no foam. Aroma is intense of raspberry and similar. Body is tendentially light, no carbonation, very strong astringency. Taste is intensely sour, really! Finish is long and sour.

Bottle @ company tasting. Almost clear reddish golden body with a lacing pink head. Pretty strong raspberry aroma with hint of almond, acid and funk. Flavor is ineradicable refreshing with acidic raspberries, lemon, dry wood, mild barnyard and funk. Fine balanced body and long lasting acidic, dry and tart fruity aftertaste with young raspberries. Quite intense, but still nice and very refreshing.

Bottle. Clear red with a tiny white head. Aroma had acetone, sour and very fresh raspberries, barnyard and woody notes. Flavour had loads of acetone/lacto, barnyard, wood and a ton of fresh raspberries, Finished very sour and it burned all the way down. Love it!
