Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of smoke, liquorice, chocolate. Taste brings a hint of coffee. Smoky linger. Nice.

On cask @ SRAF. Opaque black with a lovely off white head. Milk chocolate. The taste Adds the dimension of smoke. Lovely. Poor start but it kicked on beautifully. Lovely beer.

Bottle. Black body with a thin beige head that quickly fades. Very faint lacing. Aroma of smoke, liquorice and brambles. Flavour of chocolate, roasted malt and soy sauce. Thin body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A well balanced, flavoursome beer - although the body could be fuller.
