Aroma: sweetish malt, honeyish. Taste: sweet malt, Honey. Full bodied, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Tasty, sweetish, good one.

12oz bottle. Filtered garnet red-brown body. Thin, off-white head. Quite a Doppelbock, rather bold at 8.2%. True to style, rich malt tone. Bready, smooth lager notes. touches of caramel and brown chocolate. A pretty solid example of the style.

Bottle. A- Raisin bread. A- Brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Brown sugar, raisins, fruit cake, brown sugar. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- Pretty good doppel all around. One of the more balanced one's I've had in a while. A little old but it really helped curb the boozy bite that it probably had fresh.

Bottle from Callmemickey, thanks! Dark brown color. Nutty, caramelly roasty aroma. Full bodied. malty sweet nutty flavor with peach, Tasty and solid doppelbock.

12oz bottle. Pours deep brown. Biscuit, raisins, booze, strong caramel, sweet toffee, little plum and prune stuff. Good silky body. Good.

Pours reddish brown with a thick brown head. Aroma is of weak malt and sweetener. Taste is earthy, has some grass and floral notes to it. Palate is much of the same, contains woody notes that are fairly heavy for the style. Ok beer.

1/12/2018. Bottle from New Beer Distributors and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours clear bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma of golden syrup, hops, malt, toffee abd berries. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness and a hint of sour. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Sweet caramel and alcohol finish. Good.
