This deliciously dark doublebock calls for so much grain we had to custom-build our brewhouse around it. Layered with notes of smooth caramel, stone fruit and fresh toasted grains, ’Nator is a beer for people who love beer.

Aromas are dark malt, dark ripe fruit and a hint of molasses maybe some roast. Flavors are similar to nose, a bit more sweet than bitter with enough carbonation. Add in some hints of coffee and caramel.

Draft at spring lounge. Pours a dark amberish brown w/smallish head. aroma is sweet& malty. Taste is similar. PRetty good.

Bottle. Dark, amber color. Small head. Complex aroma, fruit cake, dried fruit. Taste slightly sweet. Fruit cake with notes of molasses.

BBT 03/2022. Amber color with off-white head. Aroma of candies, caramel, malt. Taste, roasty nuts, notes, caramel, alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle at BBT 2/2022. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Med-high sweetness, lots of dried fruits, medium toffee, light banana-ish. Medium pleasant rounded warmth balancing the sweet part. Relatively easy drinking all things considered. Overall quite good one.
