A dash of salt. A touch of tart. That’s what makes this unique German-style wheat beer a seasoned professional at serious summer thirst quenching. With its glowing golden color, peach & citrus nose followed by a prickly mouthfeel that leaves a gentle tartness and a dash of salt on the palate, the Old Pro never fails to bring you back for another sip.

Crisp clear golden and lightly caramel coloured body with a thin, fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of sour grapes, light malt, yeast, lemons, citrus, salt and a touch of cherries - very nice. Super light-bodied; Great super sour flavour at first with lemons, sour grapes, cherries, salt, yeast and funk all noticeable initially. Aftertaste shows some nice robust lemon, citrus, yeast, wheat, cherry, lemon and puckering sourness - very nice and surprisingly complex for such a light and unassuming beer. Overall, a very nice gose, perhaps one of the best i’ve ever had - a flavourful beer with not much alcohol and especially no body - which makes it easy to drink a lot of these, and that’s fine, given they have so much flavour and especially a lot of sourness. Definitely a nice beer worth trying to find and/or get if at all possible and you like the style. I sampled this 32 ounce growler fill (as well as a twelve ounce can from another store) purchased on draught from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 16-July-2016 and had the last bit of the growler on 21-July-2016 for US$5,00 and it still stood up - in a very nice way.

Tap. Pours hazy pale golden, small white head, some lacing. Aroma of wheat, lemon, faint dishwater. Flavor is fairly lemony tart, light salt, wheat. Pretty simple and a bit aggressive on the sourness. Light body. Not bad.

Cloudy very light colour, frothy head. Lots of lacto on the nose, just a clean kettle sour on this one. Salty sour character, some peachy fruit notes. Nice rounded mf, finishes with a good sweet, salty, tart balance that is not easy to achieve. Good gose.

Poured from a 12 oz can dated 3/22/2016. Aroma is nice with a light acidity and citrus note. Some medium light wheat and grain notes. Moderate to moderately strong coriander notes. Pours a hazy, very pale, yellow straw color with a medium small, thick white head that shows decent retention as it slowly recedes. Faint lacing and no legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with a moderate acidity. Acidity isn’t sharp at all though and adds a decent lemon, citrus note. Moderate coriander, though slightly less than in the aroma. A touch of some floral esters. Medium light salt notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright gose but not the best. I think the carbonation is a bit low and they used too much coriander, especially in the aroma. Salt level is fine though.

Can with many thanks to chemist Pete!!! Pour is an odd and hazy light straw color with a decent head and strange aromas of funky barn with a touch of ocean. Flavor is even stranger... the first sip I get is of salt... lots and lots of salt... not sure whether this is something that is generally suspended in the foam (which is mostly what I got) or whether I grew accustomed to it as things moved forward, but I thought \"Ugh, bilge water!\" (Or something...) Second (and subsequent) sip(s) were largely sour-dominated with a hint of salt that was lovely. This is the oddest and most interesting beer I have had in a good long while. Many thanks, Pedro!!!
