Standing firmly on the east coast end of American IPAs, our India Pale Ale emphasizes balance. An insistent malt character from traditional floor-malted English barley harmonizes with a generous amount of Chinook and Amarillo hops. Fruity and aromatic, our IPA is perfectly balanced.

A clear golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with good resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light grapefruit notes, light resinous character, nice. On tap at Jack Duggan, Terminal A, PHL.

Draft at Issac Newton’s, Newtown, PA. The color is a clear gold with a orange hue. Head was small and didn’t last. Aroma leads me to believe it is a standard American IPA: orange and tropical fruit with moderate level for bread like malt character. The flavor has a bit more depth. Malts lean on the English side with a light earthy note. Hops are a blend of citrus upfront followed by a floral and mild pine hiding in the finish. Overall for me it is an extremely drinkabl, well made IPA that was easy to kill a pint. Bitterness is there with a dryness but not to aggressive. Classic in every sense.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly hazy dark red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light speckled lacing clinging here and there around the glass.
The smell had a bittersweet citrus to piney hops with a nice balance of caramel malts here and there.
The taste was the blend of the previously mentioned flavors but actually showed a weaker strength than I expected.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed somewhat subdued and not as sharp as I expected for an AIPA.
Overall, this was not a bad beer. If it would’ve showed a bit more strength in the nose and flavor this one has a lot of potential to be a great one of its style but to me, it’s just an okay kind of beer.

Clear orange pour. Sweet juicy bready aroma with bit of floral hops. Taste is dry hoppy bitterness throughout but with sweet boozy maltiness for balance. Lasting finish. Surprisingly good IPA.

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Amber with a slight white head. Crisp, slightly sweet mlats, citrus fruits and a dryish finish with a hint of pine. Good.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours clear, dim gold with a frothy, yellow-cream head. Aroma has vague citrus fruits, some tangerine perhaps. Light to medium sweet with peach, tangerine, dry bread, a bit of dirty pine. Light sweet flavor with faint tangy citrus, orange, mildly dried bread, more pine, light earth. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, some earthy pine bitterness, dry and lightly toasted malts, orange rind. Fair.

Picked up a 6 pack of 12oz bottle in NJ
Clear golden with a medium sized white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel and dusty. Flavors of caramel, bready and citrus
Ok. I finished the 6 pack in 2 days before heading home so I guess it was decent.
