Whisky Oak Oatmeal Pale Ale. Large bag of whisky barrel oak chips went into the fermentor and the mash tun to give subtle whisky/oak flavour. Plus malted oats.A fruity and very drinkable pale ale.

On cask @ Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - wood, flowers, custard, maybe boozy smoke. Taste - a very faint reflection of what was found on the nose. Palate - light to medium bodied. The middle section is creamy and a bit boozy. The finish, could be cleaner. Overall - ok if a bit muddled.
