Purchased at Bottle Dog in London U.K., but it turns out it wasn’t really worth the bag room on the plane. Nose is pretty soft with some tropical fruit and malt. A slightly thin body for a BW. It does thicken up as it gets down towards room temperature. A touch of alcohol warmth, figs and some understated caramel malt. effervescence was quite pronounced, so I don’t think it was a bad bottle. Really needed a stronger base through either malt or hops and some better definition and accents.

Flaske delt på Mi2 Cardinal sep-20: uklar rødlig mahogny med ok skum. Svisker, fikenmarmelade, sherryaktige inntrykk, eik/vanilje og en solid humleprofil. Helhetsinntrykket ble litt urent, men så var dette slutten av flasken.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 28.09.20. Clear pale mahogany. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma of sweet berries, oak, sweet marmalade and solid malt and hop bitterness.

Bottle, 0.33l, 3 years old. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, flowers, nuts and wood. Pours murky golden brown color with thin quickly diminishing tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet caramel and milk, follows by dried fruit acidity, herbs and toasted malt, mouthfeel is smooth and warm alcoholic, while finish is heavy bitter. 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10.2%. Brown colour, minimal beige head. Aroma of malts, molasses, oak and Scotch whisky, hints of fusel alcohols and dark dried fruits. Medium sweet and pleasant flavour, again notes of malts, oak, whisky and dark dried fruits, moderate hops in the finish (Chinook, Willamette, Magnum and Olicana). Warming mouthfeel.

Can from the Weird Beard online shop. Dark brown with a beige head. Toffee,nuts,dried fruit,marzipan aromas. Sultanas, toffee, toffee apple,more nuts in the taste. Rich warming finish.

Semmi hab, barna szín. Mézes, gabonás, karamelles illat, enyhe aszalt gyümölcsös beütéssel. Gabonás, karamelles, enyhén fűszeres és leheletnyit gyümölcsös ízek. Testes, édes, enyhén szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Kellemes, jól összerakott sör.
